He is 49 years old, Associate Professor of Urology at the 1st Urology Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and Head of the Endo-Urology Department at the 1st University Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2001.
He completed his specialization in Urology in 2010 and his doctoral dissertation at the 1st University Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2017.
He completed two years of advanced training in Endo-Urology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University Clinic of AMC, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (2011–2012) as a salaried staff member.
He has worked as a (Locum) Consultant in the United Kingdom at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and NHS Fife (2014–2018).
He completed the Trainer Education Program of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2018.
He holds a master’s degree in Disaster Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (two-year program).
He has been teaching in five postgraduate programs at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2015.
He has been teaching 5th-year medical students at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2015.
Has over 50 publications in international journals with more than 800 citations.
He has been invited more than 20 times to major international conferences on urinary tract stones.
He has organized educational seminars on endo-urology and urinary tract stone management in Thessaloniki.
He has contributed to the authorship of three chapters in foreign-language textbooks.
He has participated in four (4) international multicenter studies.
He serves as a medical consultant for major multinational companies in the development of new technologies in endo-urology and the management of urinary tract stones.
He has delivered over 80 presentations at Greek conferences.
He is a trainer of first-year urology residents in PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotomy) at the EOE Boot Camp.
He served as a member of the European Board of Urology Examinations Committee (FEBU) from 2021 to 2025.
He served as a member of the editorial board of the journal Hellenic Urology.
He performs over 500 surgical procedures per year.
He has the greatest experience in Northern Greece in minimally invasive management of urinary tract stones and, overall, ranks among the highest in the country with over 3,000 procedures performed in recent years.
The range of procedures also includes surgeries for kidney and bladder tumors, as well as prostate operations.
He is a member of the Hellenic Urological Association (HUA), the European Association of Urology (EAU), the American Urological Association (AUA), and the Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU).
He completed his military service in the Special Forces of the Hellenic Army (full service in the 5th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Drama).
He is married to dermatologist Dr. Angeliki Tsorova and has two sons, Giorgos, 15, and Alexandros, 13.
He has been residing permanently in Panorama, Thessaloniki, for the past several years.
